ON THE WINGS OF A DOVE
2012 has been the beginning of a new program, "Wing's on a Dove", an equestrian program for our area Special Olympic athletes. For introduction to the program photos and info., please see "Wings on a Dove".
We started in March and by October the team was ready for competition at the Wyoming Special Olympics, Casper Fall Equestrian Games. Photos and results are at "2012 Fall Equestrian Games".
We need local volunteers for the program. If your interested in the program and helping, please contact us, and we will put you to work.
We are working on expanding and opening the program to include Veterans, TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) and others who would benefit from the theraputic and healing powers of the horses.
