INTRODUCTION TO THE
WINGS ON A DOVE PROGRAM
Wyoming Special Olympics offered an Equestrian Certification class in the Fall 2011. Chris Dove took the class, was certified, and began putting together the horses and equipment for the program at her C-K Ranch.
Good Friday 2012, We had an Easter Party at the ranch, as an introduction to the horses & donkeys, for Washakie County Special Olympics.
Berge, a 5 year old Norwegian Fjord, was the highlight of the event, as well as Joey, a 15 year old miniature donkey.
Several of the athletes loved the horses and wanted to continue with the program and compete in the 2012 Fall Equestrian Games in Casper, WY. Click the link for 2012 Fall Games, to see more photos and results.
